Event Highlights
Over the past three years, Shine a Light has raised over $200,000 for local mental health initiatives in Johnson County. The funds have been used for a variety of client needs, from car and home repair to hygiene products and food items. We have also been able to better equip and recognize JCMHC employees who serve our community every day.
Community Support in Action
Over 200 people attend Shine a Light annually, including mental health professionals, community advocates and corporate partners who want to see positive change in our community. The event includes dinner, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, two awards presentations, a keynote speaker and an engaging emcee.
